Brief History

The Super Cycles Group has long been a major supplier of Bicycles and Parts in the Nottingham and East Midlands region. From early beginnings in their shops on Mansfield Road in 1977, they have grown to become a manufacturer and supplier of their own brands of bicycles and accessories worlwide. They own and distribute some of the best known brands in the world, such as Onza, Araya, Guess, Conspiracy and Tensile.

In 2001 they moved their HQ to large premises at 45 Carlton Road in Nottingham. After an offer from Raleigh they closed the Retail shop in their premises and leased it out to them, who ran a Raleigh Cycle Life shop there for five years. During that time Super Cycles continued to sell and develop their brands and they also established this online business, Rock'n'Roll Bikes. When the Raleigh lease came to an end early in 2011, it was decided to re-open the Retail shop under the same name. So in addition to this fast growing internet sales organisation,Rock'n'Roll Bikes now has a 4000 square foot showroom selling major bike brands like Cube, Forme, Haro, Onza and many more.

We are already the leading supplier of BMX and Bicycle Trials in the area and also carry an extensive range of Road, Cross Country and Freeride bicycles. We are registered with several 'Cycle to Work' schemes like Cyclescheme etc. and offer all the usual payment methods.

Rock'n'Roll Arena

The total premises of 25000 square feet will also soon be home to the Rock'n'Roll Arena. Rock'n'Roll have supplied and operated the BMX and Trials Demonstrations at the London Cycle Show for the last 10 years, but have this year decided to take all that equipment and set up a permanent indoor BMX park in the rear of the building. This will open shortly but will initially operate on a closed private basis. There are also further future plans for a Trials park and possibly some indoor North Shore. Watch this space!
